Write to Heal – A WriteWell Workshop Series: Unleashing the Power of Creativity For Personal Transformation
Writing has the power to transform, inspire and restore a sense of wellbeing! Come and learn some practical tips on how to incorporate the power of words, music, art and meditation into your creative self-expression and personal growth practices.

Four sessions:

DATE: Tuesdays: Sept 10th – Oct 1st

You will be provided with techniques to empower the creative expression of their stories through the use of literary and other creative artistic tools.

Story telling and artistic creative expression are tools that help to give voice to capture the human experience, literally and visually. By creating a safe space that supports the growth of self-expression the workshop provides an environment that is enriching and transformative.

Techniques are shared to help tap into creativity to awaken the artistic muse. The workshop sessions include hands on exercises followed by feedback and discussion.

Writing, art, music and mediation have the power to transform, inspire and restore a sense of wellbeing. The Write to Heal Workshop Series will explore the integrated creative process of writing along with other creative outlets (Art/Music/Meditation); provide practical tips on how to harness creative power for self-expression and personal transformation.

Creative Resilience : A WriteWell Workshop – Unleash the Power of Untold Stories 
Creativity is at the heart of resilience; a key component for rebalancing, recalibrating and rebounding. Becoming more resilient enables us to thrive and confidently deal with life vs. being overwhelmed and drained by it. This workshop will help you discover your internal capacity for resilience through the power of words and expressive creative writing, exploring what it takes to be more resilient.

DATE: One Session: Saturday, Oct 5th

The centre serves as a place where individuals meet to learn, collaborate, and cultivate one another. This emerging cultural facility promotes local heritage, outreach, accessibility, and ecological integrity is central to the activities of the centre.

REGISTRATION FEE: $30 per session (Portion of proceeds donated to Joshua Creek Heritage Arts Centre)

Bell Media WriteArt Workshop: BELL LET’S TALK DAY – JAN 31 in collaboration with Artists In Momentum

The Write Art program taps into the power of creativity through writing and visual art. Facilitated by Susan Ksiezopolski, an award winner writer and Anna Silgardo, AIM founder. The workshop explores how to harness word power for self expression and personal growth. Participants learn useful and practical tips to unleash their artistic muse through word art, while discovering their inner feelings and creative voice. Working with the novice writer and writers who don’t know where to start, the workshop frees the writer within.
