Words have the power to transform, inspire and connect us! Come and learn some practical tips on how to harness word power for self-expression and personal growth. These series of workshops will explore how to tap into the creative process to unleash your stories. Words, music, art and meditation tie into the creative writing process and can be used to jump start your writing process.

Techniques are shared to help tap into creativity and to awaken the writing muse. If you’ve always wanted to write creatively, but aren’t sure where to start, this workshop is for you.

Expand your self-expression and personal growth. Connect with fellow writers, and spend quiet writing time on your own. Take in the creative energy of writing with others  to unleash your own creative force. If you are looking for the perfect writing environment – this IS it! Come join us.

These workshops provide a creative safe space to continue to inspire the written word and a forum to inspire one another or simply to use the provided prompts to jump-start you in your writing journey.

The centre serves as a place where individuals meet to learn, collaborate, and cultivate one another. This emerging cultural facility promotes local heritage, outreach, accessibility, and ecological integrity is central to the activities of the centre.

REGISTRATION FEE: $20 per session (Portion of proceeds donated to Joshua Creek Heritage Arts Centre)

Bell Media WriteArt Workshop: BELL LET’S TALK DAY – JAN 31 in collaboration with Artists In Momentum

The Write Art program taps into the power of creativity through writing and visual art. Facilitated by Susan Ksiezopolski, an award winner writer and Anna Silgardo, AIM founder. The workshop explores how to harness word power for self expression and personal growth. Participants learn useful and practical tips to unleash their artistic muse through word art, while discovering their inner feelings and creative voice. Working with the novice writer and writers who don’t know where to start, the workshop frees the writer within.
